Huan is the Shanghai-based China Program Manager at Climate Bonds Initiative. Her work focuses on engineering and developing the China program and leading project implementation from research to capacity building. In addition to that, Huan is the manager of stakeholder relationships, which are primarily with government agencies and market regulators. Through her full-dimensional engagement in the China programme, Huan also serves as a focal point for Climate Bond Initiative’s many functions in China, from communication to partnership development.
Huan represents Climate Bonds Initiative at events in the Region including webinars and conferences, and also provides information to the Regional media, to spread the mission of Climate Bonds Initiative in China.
Prior to Climate Bonds, Huan was with the People’s Bank of China, Shanghai. She worked in the Bank HQ’s Research Bureau, where she was a member of the Green Finance Committee as well as in the Bank’s Frankfurt Representative Office. Huan supported the G20 Green Finance Study Group’s work in 2016 as assistant to the co-chair, Chief Economist, Ma Jun.
Huan majored in Economics for her Bachelor Degree, and has a Master’s Degree in Journalism.
Huan is based in Shanghai, China.
