Penny Cross

Penny joined Climate Bonds Initiative in December 2023 from CDP, where she developed and led the marketing and communications function and built the team over more than ten years at the non-profit that runs the leading global environmental disclosure system.

She has advised on strategy, marketing and communications for over 25 years at an extensive range of commercial and non-profit entities large and small. She has held Board level and senior advisory roles at capital markets communications consultancies, Citigate Dewe Rogerson and Instinctif and led the communications and marketing function at private equity membership organisation Invest Europe. Her non-executive director experience spans education and charity.

Multilingual and with international experience spanning Europe, the USA and Asia, she has a strong track record in finding solutions to support growth at global organisations undergoing change.
