Professional Bio 

Reyes Tirado joined CBI as Agri-Food Senior Manager in 2023 to lead the development of Agri-Food Standards, providing technical leadership and managing the team of Standard Analysts in the Agri-Food Transition Programme. She oversees the delivering of criteria for Crop and Livestock Production, Deforestation and Conversion Free Sourcing, Food Value Chain and others for the Climate Bonds Taxonomy and Certification Scheme. Reyes works with global scientific experts and industry leaders to develop guidelines for financial instruments that contribute to sustainability and real climate action.



Reyes holds a PhD in Biology and is Honorary Research Fellow in the University of Exeter since 2006, with years of experience in leading scientific projects in agriculture and climate change across the world. Reyes has published extensively and has been part of United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) processes, contributing as expert from observer Civil Society Organisations (CSO).



Reyes lives in her farm in the South of Spain from where she is engaged in research, advocacy and climate action initiatives globally.
