Professional Bio 

Sheila is the Agriculture Program Manager for Brazil, responsible for the implementation of the program, aiming to develop and scale the country’s agriculture green bond market. As an international relations professional, with more than 15 years of experience in government relations and business development, Sheila has managed projects for the Brazilian and foreign governments.

Prior to joining CBI, Sheila worked as a Foreign Direct Investment Manager for the Canadian and Swiss governments, promoting the internationalization of Brazilian companies and advising foreign clients on doing business in Brazil, improving their awareness and knowledge of the local business environment, regulation and trade opportunities. More recently, she worked as an Economic and Commercial Coordinator for the Finnish government, being responsible for the agricultural sector, promoting international trade, monitoring and reporting Brazil’s political, as well as economic and trade developments.

Before that, she worked as an attaché for the UK government, facilitating UK-Brazil policy, commercial and academic partnerships. She managed a portfolio of cooperation projects targeting implementation and development of public policies for Brazil’s innovation environment, working with senior level government officials and entrepreneurs to stimulate long-term partnerships and prosperity.

Sheila has a BSc. Degree in International Relations and holds a MSc. degree in Strategic Intelligence.
