Carolina is the Programme Manager for Latin America, promoting sustainable finance in the region. She led the UK PACT program in Colombia and Mexico and is currently leading UK PACT Colombia II supporting local stakeholders on taxonomy development. She also led the elaboration of the Taxonomy Roadmap for Chile.
Carolina has provided technical assistance on green bond issuances to banks, non-financial institutions, and local governments. She has delivered green bond courses and workshops to financial institutions, financial regulators, central banks, and the real sector.
Before joining Climate Bonds, Carolina worked in international organizations such as Accion Venture Lab, a venture capital fund, Fintech FUNDation in Washinton D.C. area, Ashoka in Boston, Goldman Sachs in the U.K., the IDB in Washington D.C., and Banco Popular, part of Grupo Aval, in Colombia. She holds a B.A in International Finance from Universidad del Rosario in Colombia, an M.Sc. in International Finance and a diploma in Inclusive and Social Business from HEC Paris.
