Professional Bio 

Ewan joined Climate Bonds in May 2022 as a Sustainability Analyst in the Standards team. A specialist in financial, economic and investment issues related to climate change. His work consists of providing original research and technical expertise for developing sustainability criteria for global agriculture and food systems. Helping to drive bond market financing to aid the development of low-carbon, climate resilient and sustainable agri-food value chains.

Worked in a six-month internship in the Climate Finance Unit on financing Sustainable Land Use through a range of leading international blended finance projects working to mobilise $1 billion from the public and private sectors. Acting as a Programme Support to provide assistance to eight separate projects that aim to address specific investment barriers in the current business-as-usual practices to transitioning from unsustainable land use practices.

Prior to this, alongside academic study, previous experience includes an Asset Management Intern and a position as an Economic Research Assistant at the University of Stirling.

Ewan holds a Masters in Climate Change Finance and Investment from the University of Edinburgh and a First-class Honours degree in Economics and History from the University of Dundee.
