Q3 2019 issuance is 87% higher than Q3 2018, and 2019 quarterly issuance has been consistently higher than 2018. Financial corporates led the way in Q3 with 24% of total quarterly volume.
Emerging market issuance represented 26% of Q3 2019 volume, with strong issuance from LAC, bringing Q1-Q3 2019 EM issuance, including supranationals, to USD51.7bn (Jan-Sep 2018: USD32.5bn).
