Senior Capacity Building Training Specialist

Abraham Pedroza is the Lead Trainer of CBI’s Training and Events team. His role is twofold: to serve as CBI’s ambassador to accelerate investment into climate financial instruments and to help driving the sustainable finance and investment agendas through capacity building of various stakeholders focusing on capital markets.

Abraham possesses many years of experience coordinating and managing technically complex projects and programmes at the highest levels and across different geographies. Prior to joining CBI he worked for the United Nations Environment Programme on different agendas contributing to sustainable development and climate mitigation issues including: sustainable consumption and production, corporate social responsibility, sustainability reporting, sustainable procurement, consumer information tools, resource efficiency, life cycle approaches and other sustainable development issues and their link to the global political arena.

His educational background includes a MSc. degree in Policy Analysis from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, a MSc. degree in Network Industries and Numerical Economy from Ecole Polytechnique in France and he received his BSc. degree in engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico.

Abraham was born in Torreon, Mexico and he is passionate about projects contributing to attaining the global goals, practicing sports, dogs and Mexican cuisine.

Anna Creed

Director of Thought Leadership

Anna works with global scientific experts, financial industry leaders and governments to anticipate the needs of a growing sustainable finance market, developing solutions to deliver robust and rapidly scaling sustainable finance markets. This includes developing frameworks and tools for transition finance and resilience finance, and frameworks for assessing and certifying an expanding range of debt and equity instruments. Previously Anna was Head of Standards at Climate Bonds, responsible for overseeing criteria development for the Climate Bonds Taxonomy and Certification Scheme.  She was a participant in the EU Sustainable Finance Platform and its predecessor the Technical Expert Group and is a member of the UK's Green Taxonomy Advisory Group. A strategy specialist, Anna started her career in consultancy, then industry, before moving into the environmental sphere over 15 years ago.

environmental design and advisory practice formed by Ché Wall and Matthew Jessup. Ché and Matthew have worked together over 15 years and have successfully grown and led Australia’s first dedicated 

sustainable building consultancies. 

Flux provides expert advisory services with respect to 

environmental sustainability

 issues in property sector and select design consultancy to ensure we remain grounded by real world practical experience and commercial pragmatism. We bring together the best thinking on sustainability direction and strategy, implementation, policy, brand and communications. The common thread across these will be objectivity and the technical capacity to analyse issues rigorously when needed.



Ché Wall and Matthew Jessup are internationally recognised leaders in sustainability within the built environment and are responsible for delivering a number of Australia's most iconic and transformative green buildings, public spaces and precincts. In addition to their strong reputation, they have had a long-standing relationship with the City of Sydney and other relevant government agencies. Flux both advises to many tiers of government, and provides the technical expertise to contribute to the design and development process.

Deborah Rossi

Deborah has a career spanning over 25 years as Executive Support. Starting out in the Music Industry in London, where for many years she supported Record Label Executives and International Performance Artists.

In 2001 she moved to Barcelona where she continued her role for an International Venture Capital and Private Investment Consortium.

She joined Climate Bonds Initiative in 2018 as the Executive Assistant to the CEO.
