Webinar: Climate Bonds Certification for Rail Infrastructure. Who Can Issue? What's Involved? What's the Potential? Hear from the Experts

Rail Criteria Webinar this Thursday

Rail accounted for a huge 93% of the climate-aligned transport bonds in our State of the Market 2016 report. This is in part due to a number of large state-backed rail entities, who have a long history of using bonds to raise finance. On this well-established ground, there is plenty of potential for further Certifications using our rail Criteria.

For the first in our two-part webinar series examining the Low Carbon Transport Criteria of the Climate Bonds Standard, we’ll be looking in detail at the rail infrastructure components of the Criteria. We’ll be joined by the Partnership on Sustainable, Low Carbon Transport (SLoCaT), who contributed to the development of the Criteria through the Technical Working Group process.

Guest presenters from the Partnership on Sustainable, Low Carbon Transport (SLoCaT):

  • Cornie Huizenga, Secretary General
  • Karl Peet, Research Director
