environmental design and advisory practice formed by Ché Wall and Matthew Jessup. Ché and Matthew have worked together over 15 years and have successfully grown and led Australia’s first dedicated 

sustainable building consultancies. 

Flux provides expert advisory services with respect to 

environmental sustainability

 issues in property sector and select design consultancy to ensure we remain grounded by real world practical experience and commercial pragmatism. We bring together the best thinking on sustainability direction and strategy, implementation, policy, brand and communications. The common thread across these will be objectivity and the technical capacity to analyse issues rigorously when needed.



Ché Wall and Matthew Jessup are internationally recognised leaders in sustainability within the built environment and are responsible for delivering a number of Australia's most iconic and transformative green buildings, public spaces and precincts. In addition to their strong reputation, they have had a long-standing relationship with the City of Sydney and other relevant government agencies. Flux both advises to many tiers of government, and provides the technical expertise to contribute to the design and development process.

Karthik works as Senior Advisor for  Climate Bonds Initiative with a focus on India and Asia. He is an innovative Investments and Capital Markets Industry professional with solid experience in Green Finance, Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets, Throughout his career, Karthik has been operating at a senior level in the Financial Services sector in an international environment.

Karthik was previously Commercial Director at Climate Bonds Initiative in London and a member of the Senior Management team.

Andrew Whiley

Senior Advisor

Andrew Whiley has more than 25 years of experience in institutional investment, sustainability, ESG, strategic communications, global climate & carbon policy and more latterly, green finance & transition.

Andrew is currently Senior Advisor at Climate Bonds providing strategic support to the organisation. Previously he was the long serving Head of Communications & Media leading the international & regional teams in developing global brand profile for Climate Bonds, strategic communications campaigns, marketing outreach and coordinating regional programs in ASEAN, Australia, EU, LATAM, India and China.

Prior to working at Climate Bonds, Andrew was Head of Communications in a twin role at Pensions & Investment Research Consultants (PIRC) & Local Authorities Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF) in London, managing media relations, policy and strategy development around shareholder corporate engagement, corporate governance, climate, ESG and sustainable investment campaigns with international investor groups and pension funds.

Before moving to the UK from Australia, Andrew had a 20-year career in financial services, focused on the pensions and superannuation sector, holding multiple board roles in pension, infrastructure and private equity investment funds and executive management positions in financial services organisations.

 

Krista Tukiainen

Senior Advisor

Krista previously Head the the global research pipeline of the Climate Bonds Market Intelligence team.

Krista has led and contributed to projects ranging from country- and sector-specific green finance briefings to a study on the global state of play of post-issuance and impact reporting in the green bond market, as well as the inaugural global green bond issuer survey. Additionally, she is jointly responsible for data-related collaborations with external stakeholders. Krista works closely with the rest of the Client Services team to help disseminate Climate Bonds' data to partners who use it to build a variety of green and sustainable investment products.

An environmental economist by training, Krista has six years of experience from cross-sector advisory projects. She previously worked as a Consultant at the University of Cambridge's Centre for Sustainable Development followed by an ESG advisory role at London-based boutique firm Longevity Partners. She has also collaborated with impact-driven companies and investors, for example as an advisor to Sylvera Ltd, a start-up using machine learning to identify and carry out large-scale carbon sequestration projects, as well as UK-based VC fund Eka Ventures in helping to define their investment thesis and impact measurement approach.
