Mike supports various public and private sector issuer clients with a special focus on municipal government finance and climate-aligned capital financing. Prior to joining CBI in 2022, Mike spent 16 years at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (USA), where he managed climate finance and green bonds initiatives, including issuing over $3 billion in CBI-certified green bonds under the Water Criteria. Mike is a member of the California State Treasurer Green Bond Market Development Committee. Mike holds a Master's in City Planning with a focus on international development from MIT.

Bruno de Araujo is based in São Paulo (Brazil) and is currently pursuing Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of São Paulo (USP). Throughout his degree, he studied at Politecnico di Milano (Italy) with a focus on Sustainable Design. Bruno has conducted researches on smart, sustainable, and resilient cities and has two professional experiences working with sustainability and ESG consultancy for the construction and real estate sectors.

Sivu joined the Climate Bonds team since 2023, serving as the Partnerships Relationship Manager. In this position, Sivu provides support to the Head of Partnerships and fellow Relationship Managers, undertaking a range of responsibilities. These include but aren’t limited to the development and maintenance of databases and archiving systems, the management of partner accounts and leads, the drafting of commercial proposals, and the regular updating of commercial marketing and communication collateral.



Before joining Climate Bonds, Sivu garnered significant experience as a Project Manager within diverse industries, including investment consulting, Insurance, Private Equity, and Mining.



Sivu holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics from Rhodes University. Additionally, Sivu holds a certificate in Private Equity from the Accredited Certification Institute. Sivu is an alumnus of The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders (YALI) which was initiated by President Barack Obama during his tenure with the aim of empowering young people through academic coursework, leadership training and networking.

Andrew has a background in managing accredited certification schemes in the food sector, with a focus on aquaculture and chain of custody. Andrew holds an MSc in Aquatic Food Security and a BSc in Aquaculture from the University of Stirling’s Institute of Aquaculture. As Certification Manager, he supports the delivery and expansion of the Climate Bonds Certification Scheme.
