Green Bonds for Low Carbon Vehicle Transport: Tuesday 4th Oct: What's Involved? What's the Potential? Who Can Issue? Hear from the Experts: Register Now

Can Roads Be Green?

Transport is the second largest contributor to global GHG emissions after electricity generation; responsible for 23% of all energy-related CO2 emissions globally.

But how to attract the $15.7 trillion in additional transport investment the IEA says will be required between now and 2050 to limit global temperature rises to 2˚ Celsius?

The potential for green bonds to fund new low carbon transport infrastructure is huge. Transport cuts across urbanisation and cities growth, planning for megacities, industry, resources and more.

Webinar Road Transport: Tuesday October 4th

In the second of our Low Carbon Transport 101 Series, Roads will be in the spotlight. This includes green bonds to fund electric/hybrid buses, bicycle schemes, private light-duty and heavy goods vehicles that are electric, hybrid or alternative fuel and bus rapid transport.
