Before CBI, her career had been primarily focused in the financial services industry where she has over twenty years of experience working at investment banks as a research analyst. Clodagh has experience in many aspects of investment banking and capital markets including: structured equity, capital markets, deal structuring and negotiation, product marketing, credit evaluation, building and managing client relationships and business strategy development. Deepak Sharma close Research Analyst (Agri Food)Deepak is a dedicated Market Analyst within the Market Intelligence team at the Climate Bonds Initiative, specializing in the sustainable bond market for the agriculture and food sector.With a BSc in Geography from Royal Holloway University of London, Deepak brings a strong foundation in environmental analysis to his role. Formerly a sustainability consultant, he aided businesses in developing sustainability strategies and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reporting. At the Climate Bonds Initiative, Deepak focuses on measuring and assessing the growth of sustainable bonds, conducting thematic research, engaging stakeholders, and crafting insightful reports. His interdisciplinary background enables him to navigate complex environmental and financial landscapes, contributing to the promotion of sustainable investment practices in the agriculture and food sector.
Neil Wardley close Head of Market Intelligence Data ProductsNeil joined Climate Bonds in 2022 after over 30 years’ experience in Financial Services. He started his career as a software engineer in New York working on real-time risk management systems before joining Lehman Brothers' fixed income business. At Lehman he was an integral part of the growth of the fixed income index franchise both in the US and Europe.Neil also spent time as product manager for the S&P Global USD iBoxx index family and at BNP Paribas working on their fixed income index business. Most recently he was a Managing Director at Evalueserve Inc, providing sales, relationship management and business development for large Financial Services clients.Neil holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from Portsmouth University and a Ph.D in Remote Sensing from the University of Sheffield.
Stephanie Edghill close Research Production CoordinatorSteph joined Climate Bonds in June 2023 and supports Markets Intelligence as Research Production Coordinator.She has 15 years’ experience in Higher Education and Professional Development, designing and teaching programmes in finance and business to postgraduate level, including English for Academic Purposes (EAP). Additionally, she designed and taught a wide range of public and in-house courses for financial institutions and law firms in the City.Prior to that, her background was as an investment banker where shewas a Securities and Futures Authority Registered Trader. She has an MBA from the University of Hull.
Katlego Seodi close Partnerships Support Specialist (Data Products)Katlego joined Climate Bonds in 2023 as the Markets and Partnership Support Specialist. She oversees all data queries and supports the usage of Climate Bonds Market Data by our Partners and external stakeholders. Previously Katlego worked as a management consultant within banking and insurance. During that time, she specialised in regulation implementation, business analysis, and data analysis and visualisation. Katlego holds a post-graduate degree in Finance from the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from the same institution. Katlego has passed the CFA II exam.
