Climate Bonds Partners Programme 加入のお知らせ
ＳＭＢＣ日興証券株式会社（代表取締役社長：清水 喜彦）はこの度、Climate Bonds Initiative※（以下
「CBI」）が運営する Climate Bonds Partners Programme（以下「本プログラム」）へ加入いたしましたのでお知らせします。
本プログラムは、気候変動への適応や脱炭素化に向けた投資に貢献する持続可能なグリーンボンド市 場の成長のため、投資家とステークホルダーの活動や教育プロジェクトを支援する Climate Bonds Partners が加入するプログラムです。
当社は、SDGs 及び気候変動問題に対する取り組みを更に支援していくため、本プログラムへの加入を通じて CBI との連携をますます強め、今後とも数多くのグリーンボンドの発行及び投資を強力に支援してまいります。
当社は、金融・資本市場におけるビジネスを通じた環境・社会課題の解決のため、専門部署である
「SDGs ファイナンス室」を設置する等、ESG の推進に積極的に取り組んでおり、鉄道建設・運輸施設整備支援機構のサステナビリティボンド、明電舎のグリーンボンド及び東北電力のグリーンボンドといった、日本 国内において CBI 認証を取得したグリーンボンドの全てに主幹事として参画している唯一の証券会社です。
※ Climate Bonds Initiative は、低炭素経済に向けた大規模投資を促進する国際 NGO です。具体的な活動の一つがグリーンボンドに係る独自基準である Climate Bonds Standards（CBS）の策定と当該基準に適格であることを認証する CBI 認証であり、日本国内では鉄道建設・運輸施設整備支援機構が発行するサステナビリティボンド及び明電舎が 7 月に発行したグリーンボンドがこの認証を取得しています。
