This is our first Certified Climate Bond from Belgium. KBC Group is a financial institution that mainly provides banking and insurance services within Belgium and countries in Central Europe.
This bond finances projects in a range of sectors, including an offshore wind farm in the North Sea and refinancing over 2000 mortgage loans tied in energy efficient homes in Belgium.
