Brookfield Properties is a subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management, which is a large developer of prime commercial buildings globally.
The proceeds from this Certified Loan will refinance existing debt linked to the development of Tower 1 and Tower 2 of Brookfield Place Perth. The buildings are leased to large corporate tenants. Tower 1 has 45 floors and is currently the secondly tallest building in Western Australia.
Tower 1 has a lettable area of 120,000 square meters and was completed in 2012. Tower 2 has a lettable area of 33,350 square meters and was completed in 2015.
