CMB was founded in Shenzhen, China in 1987. It was the first joint stock commercial bank wholly owned by corporate legal entities in China.
The first Certified issuance from CMB was issued through their Hong Kong branch. The proceeds will be allocated to 7 urban metro projects in China.
