Dutch International Development Bank FMO NV Becomes Climate Bonds Partner. CEO makes announcement at Amsterdam Solar Energy Conference

Today, Dutch development bank FMO NV joined the Climate Bonds Initiative Partners Programme effective immediately.

The announcement was made by FMO CEO Nanno Kleiterp in Amsterdam at the Making Solar Bankable Conference, an international forum co-hosted by FMO with a focus on project development for clean energy in emerging economies.

 

Dutch Pioneer in Green Bonds

The development bank was awarded a ‘First Green Bond - Netherlands’ Certificate in the ‘National Pioneers’ category at the inaugural Green Bond Pioneer Awards held at the London Stock Exchange on the 3rd of February.

Justine Leigh-Bell, Senior Standards Manager for Climate Bonds, presented the award to FMO CEO, Nanno Kleiterp, at today’s solar conference.
