Climate Bonds Advisory Panel newest member is Paul Camp of BELECTRIC UK and Big60Million

Paul is a co-founder, and heads Business Development & Finance for both BELECTRIC UK and the community benefit energy company that it created, Big60Million.

Over 30 years he has worked in international capital markets and project finance, including 15 years at Tullet Prebon and the setting up of the St. Petersburg Municipal Debt Program (bond auction system) in Russia.

Paul became one of the founders of BELECTRIC UK in 2010. In the early days of the company, he set up many of the processes for the planning and construction of solar energy projects and expanded his business and finance development portfolio with the role of Health & Safety Director.

In 2014 Paul was behind Europe’s first Climate Bonds Certified bond, as a vehicle for solar farm investment by local communities.

Paul is a member of the 'Royal Institution' and the UK Solar Trade Association’s PR & Lobbying Committee.

He will also be a member of the Climate Bonds Green Securitization Advisory Group. The aim of the Group is to help drive and accelerate a revitalised European ABS market.
