Miguel Almeida

Having been at Climate Bonds Initiative since 2018, Miguel Almeida conducts research and analysis on various projects within the Markets Intelligence team while also helping to maintain the database and addressing data requests.

Apart from monitoring global market trends, a large part of Miguel's work focuses on the Latin American region as well as post-issuance reporting.

Miguel holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Bath and, prior to Climate Bonds, worked as a Market Analyst at KAE (a boutique consultancy with a focus on financial services) and as an Equity Research Analyst within the Chemicals and European Banks teams at Goldman Sachs. He has also done some biodiversity research and conservation work in Brazil.
