Auckland Council

 

At 1.5 million population, Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand. They have the most extensive commuter rail network in New Zealand, with 40 stations and 4 lines. The City Council is improving and upgrading this electrified rail network and is issuing the first municipal green bond in New Zealand to finance the acquisition of new trains and electrified rail equipment.
