Bruno Magno Simões de Carvalho

Bruno Magno is a Senior Sustainable Debt Analyst on the Market Intelligence team, responsible for tracking and assessing green, social and sustainable debt instruments across Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). His work supports market transparency and growth by identifying key trends and insights in sustainable debt issuance.

Prior to joining Climate Bonds, Bruno worked on Second-Party Opinions (SPOs) for GSS+ instruments, assessing the alignment of bond frameworks with international standards. He brings over three years of previous experience in sustainable finance consulting and environmental and social risk assessment across infrastructure, energy and agribusiness sectors.

Bruno holds a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). His background includes work in hydrological modelling projects, geospatial data analysis and climate risk assessments.
