The Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW), together with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the World Bank Group, is pleased to invite you to a two-day, invitation-only technical workshop: Deep Dive into the Issuance Process of Social, Green, and Sustainable Bonds.

Hosted by GPW, the workshop is designed to provide a practical and detailed look into the key steps of issuing thematic bonds, from pre-issuance planning and framework development to investor engagement, execution, and post-issuance reporting. The program will convene key stakeholders to support Poland’s efforts in deepening its sustainable capital markets.

Expected outcomes

Participants in the training program can expect to acquire a solid knowledge of the following:

  • Understanding of the differences between green, social and sustainability bonds
  • Overall benefits of labelled bonds
  • A thorough understanding of each of the steps of the issuance process, including requirements in the pre-issuance, issuance, and post-issuance phases
  • Knowledge of the structure and steps in the development of a Green Bond Framework
  • Knowledge of the actors involved in the process, their roles, and responsibilities · Distinctive characteristics of sovereign bonds
