Introduction

Climate Bonds APAC CONNECT returns to Hong Kong during Hong Kong Green Week

Climate Bonds APAC CONNECT returns to Hong Kong, Asia's premier financial hub, as a main programme partner during Hong Kong Green Week (7–12 September), with the support of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Amundi, Barclays & BNP Paribas.

This year's conference will bring together leading investors, policymakers, financial institutions, and market innovators to explore how Asia can accelerate the transition to a sustainable, resilient, and low-carbon future.

Against a backdrop of rapidly growing investment needs across the region, the event will focus on strengthening Asia's leadership in sustainable finance, unlocking cross-border investment opportunities, mobilising capital for emerging markets, and turning transition ambitions into tangible action.

The agenda will tackle the defining issues shaping the next decade of sustainable finance. Discussions will span the expansion of the GSS+ investment universe, the evolving role of green industrial and fiscal policies, and the challenge of operationalising transition finance at corporate, sovereign, and system-wide levels.

Delegates will also explore the growing importance of guarantees and blended finance solutions, alongside practical approaches to scaling Adaptation & Resilience (A&R) finance across the physical, natural, and social dimensions of resilience.

Industry experts will examine how taxonomies can drive green sector growth and market interoperability, with dedicated discussions on key sectors including power grids, shipping, manufacturing, supply chains, and ICT. The programme will also highlight the increasing urgency of adaptation and resilience investment in rapidly growing Asian cities.

The event is aimed at senior decision-makers from across the public and private sectors wanting to explore what Hong Kong's pivotal role is in advancing sustainable finance across APAC, how to strengthen connections with Mainland China, and linking regional capital with global markets.

Join the region's sustainability and finance leaders to shape the future of sustainable investment in Asia and help drive the transition from ambition to action.
