Climate Bonds CONNECT London Global Conference
On 21 October, we’ll kick off with pre-conference Sustainable Debt Training at Ashurst, offering practical sessions on Defining Credible Adaptation & Resilience (A&R) Investments and Assessing Transition Plans for Credibility & Ambition.
The flagship conference follows on 22 October, uniting leaders from finance, government, and business to explore how sustainable finance is adapting to shifting economic and geopolitical realities. Discussions will span national climate commitments, resilience in uncertain times, the methane challenge, and defining credible adaptation projects.
The event will be hybrid — in person in London and livestreamed for our global community.

Integrating Methane Abatement into Finance and Operations | 15:00–18:00 (Lusaka Time)
Co-hosted by Climate Bonds Initiative and the Lusaka Securities Exchange, this interactive training will equip financial institutions, banks, and the oil & gas sector with strategies to integrate methane abatement into their operations and finance. Participants will explore the role of taxonomies, transition plans, and sustainable finance instruments — such as labelled bonds — in cost-effectively funding methane reduction projects.
