Zachary Braunstein

A former farmer and teacher turned strategist, Zack has 15 years of experience spanning sustainable finance, multilateral negotiations, regenerative agriculture, emerging technologies, and organizational development. He has led projects ranging from coordinating COVID response efforts at the New York State Department of Health, to serving as Chief of Staff at the philanthropic regranter the Climate Emergency Collaboration Group. He has collaborated with institutions across sectors, including the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, and leading philanthropies such as CIFF, Rockefeller, IKEA, Sequoia, OSF, and Hewlett.

In addition to his role as Head of Strategic Partnerships at CBI, Zack serves as the Principal Consultant at Climate Connectors, is a Board Director and Chair of the Development Committee at Work on Climate, and volunteers as an Independent Review Panel member at Accountable Now.
