Yunhan Chen

Yunhan Chen is the China Engagement Manager at the Climate Bonds Initiative, where she focuses on managing and expanding stakeholder partnerships and strengthening institutional engagement in sustainable finance.

Prior to joining CBI, she served as Deputy Head of the Secretariat for the Green Investment Principles (GIP) for the Belt and Road and held positions at the Beijing Institute of Finance and Sustainability (BIFS) and the Research Center for Green Finance Development at Tsinghua University’s PBC School of Finance. In these roles, she coordinated capacity-building initiatives and organized high-level international conferences, supporting dialogue among financial institutions, policymakers, and global partners.

Yunhan holds a bachelor’s degree in Geographic Sciences from Nanjing University in China and a master’s in Global Policy from Boston University in the US.
