Xiaoyan Shen

Xiaoyan Shen is a communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in strategic communications, project management, content creation, and stakeholder engagement. Based in Shanghai, she leads communications and media initiatives for the China and Japan markets while supporting broader communications across Asia-Pacific, helping advance sustainable finance and climate action through strategic campaigns, media engagement, thought leadership, and major industry events. Previously, she worked at Caixin Global and WorldSkills International.

Xiaoyan holds a Master’s in English-Chinese Interpreting from Shanghai International Studies University and a Bachelor’s from Sun Yat-sen University, with hands-on experience in cross-cultural communication and multilingual project coordination.
