Sarah Maxwell

In the Global Policy Team, Sarah specialises in the real economy policy changes needed to transition to a low carbon future.
 

She previously worked in the Bank of England’s climate change division, where she led work to assess the macroeconomic implications of climate change, as well as develop the climate scenarios toolkit. She also represented the Bank at the Network for Greening the Financial System. More broadly, Sarah has experience working across both public policy and private sectors, with time spent at HM Treasury and the macroeconomic consultancy Oxford Economics.

Sarah is an economist by background and holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Edinburgh. She is currently based in Berlin.
