Sachi Nakajima

Sachi is a Research and Engagement Manager on the Japan team at the Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI), specialising in sustainability and ESG across research and advisory roles.  Since 2023, she has been leading a research project at the Kamakura Sustainability Institute in Japan focused on transition plans for high-emission industries, including oil and gas, electric utilities, steel, automotive, shipping, aviation, and petrochemicals.

She also brings broad experience in ESG consulting for listed companies, covering ESG information disclosure and investor relations, the formulation of ESG-related policies and visions, and the establishment of ESG management frameworks, gained through her experience at a consulting firm.

She holds a Master’s degree of media and governance from Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University.
