Andy Ferris

As General Counsel, Andy is responsible for overseeing all legal, regulatory, risk and governance issues at Climate Bonds Initiative. Before joining Climate Bonds Initiative Andy worked at a number of international law firms as a UK qualified corporate finance lawyer, focusing on debt capital markets and sustainable finance more generally. Andy has lived and worked in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney and, for the 18 years prior to his return to the UK, Singapore. Andy adopts a commercial and collaborative approach to his role, with the aim of benefitting stakeholders' strategic goals. For over 25 years Andy has advised and supported major international banks, development finance institutions, corporations, social enterprises and organisations across a broad range of industry sectors and in countries around the world.
