Akanksha Singh

Akanksha Singh brings over 14 years of front-office experience across capital markets, fixed income, debt syndication and treasury. Her career has focused on originating and executing financial market transactions, building relationships with corporate and institutional investors, and connecting issuers and investors across fixed income and capital markets.
Prior to joining Climate Bonds Initiative, Akanksha held senior roles at Kotak Mahindra Bank and RBL Bank. At RBL Bank, she originated, priced, structured and placed fixed income transactions exceeding USD 200 million annually across a range of tenors and credit profiles. She also supported the bank's pre-IPO capital raising programme through institutional investor engagement and book-building activities. Earlier in her career, she worked in fixed income and debt syndication, originating corporate mandates and developing relationships with mutual funds, insurance companies and banks.
Her experience spans client origination, deal structuring, investor engagement and capital markets execution, with a particular interest in the role of financial markets and institutional capital in supporting the transition to a more sustainable economy. At Climate Bonds Initiative, she brings this commercial and capital markets perspective to advancing the growth and development of sustainable finance.
