Valeria Dagnino Contreras

Valeria is the Programme Analyst for the Climate Bonds Initiative’s LatAm team and is based in Mexico City. She is responsible for supporting the delivery of key activities under the Latam programme and supporting the efforts to drive the development of the Green Finance market in the region.

She is currently supporting the execution of Green Finance Programmes through technical assistance, capacity building, podcasts and webinars. She has experience working with sustainable development projects, liaising with stakeholders as well as analyzing barriers and opportunities in the local market for leveraging green financial products. Working on budgeting for programmes and activities in the region as well as reporting on project progress. 

Valeria has a dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science and in International Relations from Yonsei University in South Korea.
