Marina is a Public Affairs professional with more than 15 years’ experience working in government and institutional affairs. A stakeholder mapping expert, she specializes in political engagement and risk analysis.
Currently, Marina leads on CBI’s stakeholder relations agenda for the Latin American region, focusing mostly on Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico. Previously, Marina led the domestic politics strategy for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office at the British Embassy in Brasilia, where she worked for 7 years, having been responsible for its political engagement and for advising commercial teams. Marina mediated all stakeholder mapping sessions for the Embassy and Consulates in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo across areas such as the Environment, Energy, Trade and Science & Innovation.
Marina also worked for Public Affairs consultancy Concordia, managing projects in the biotechnology, software, and health sectors. Previously, she worked for a multinational construction company and for the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade through the country’s Embassy in Brasilia. She holds a BA in Public Relations and a Public Policy & Management MPA from the Brazilian Institute of Education, Development and Research (IDP).
