Jo Cutler works on the policy team at Climate Bonds Initiative. She is a professional economist with two decades of experience working at the Bank of England, Hong Kong Monetary Authority and UK Treasury, and has recently completed post-graduate courses on global energy and climate policy and sustainable finance at the School of Oriental and African Studies. Her work experience includes several years in Asia as a macroeconomist researching globalization patterns, US-China economic links, and commodity and asset prices. She is passionate about working in the field of environmental economics to press the case for pro-active, urgent policies aimed at mitigating and adapting to climate change and the reorientation of global capital flows to green growth and sustainable development. Her interests include reading, hiking and sustainable travelling and she is a volunteer with Coram Beanstalk helping to boost primary school literacy skills.
