UK Guardian on green bonds

CBI network member Ben Caldecott has published a piece on green bonds in the British Guardian newspaper (http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/cif-green/2011/jan/11/what-are-gre...).

Ben argues that the central concept behind green (or climate) bonds is nothing new and that there are significant savings to be made long term in diverting our capital towards green investment grade assets. In addition, he touches on the need for a recognised label to standardise the plethora of new green bonds for different purposes out there in order to reassure investors and fund managers. This work is underway through the CBI standards project.
